Embrace the flower spirit in midlife!

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is the most distinguished flower show in the world that inspires millions of people in horticulture design ideas! It’s taking place this week on East Road in Chelsea and finishes this Saturday 26th May! Have you booked your tickets yet? Don’t leave it too late!

It also a fantastic excuse to ‘dress up!’ and there is nothing better than the sun shining in May and bringing out those beautiful girly colours, this year’s fashion has lent itself to mid-length floaty dresses, cut on the bias, with added frills, floaty arms and flattering necklines, most boasting floral patterns in gorgeous shades. Some of the men have adorned such bright suits that they’ve blended into the arrangements!

Although some go for the social gatherings, others attend to walk around the show, which can be tiring on the feet! Don’t forget to pack your comfy shoes!

Liz Earle, writer, TV presenter and entrepreneur. Author of over 30 books on nutrition and well-being, she’s frequently seen on ITV’s This Morning and Lorraine. Liz attended the flower show this week, along with Loraine Kelly, Shirley Ballas and Gaby Roslin.

As the role of a patron to the Royal Horticultural Society, Queen Elizabeth II is a regularly attendee of this annual event, which she attended on Monday this week, looking fresh in a pale pink outfit.
