Skin Tightening Radio Frequency

What is Radio Frequency?

A skin rejuvenation method using radio frequency waves to penetrate deep into the skin to improve and tighten its underlying structures. This method primarily tightens the skin but also diminishes the appearance of wrinkles.

What types of Radio Frequency are available?

There are three types of RF devices, all of which are FDA approved.

Thermage
A monopolar RF that uses patented thermatip™ technology.

Accent™
This treatment uses two hand pieces, the bipolar one for skin tightening while the other is monopolar for the deeper penetration needed for fat reduction.

  • Tripollar™

Another brand using two hand pieces, but this time combining them into one treatment, and the only supplier to do so.

Is Radio Frequency for you?

If you are in good health, little will compromise your ability to have the treatment. If you are pregnant or have any implants which may interfere with the radio frequency means you cannot undergo the procedure, it’s always important to check with a consultant or expert to ensure you qualify.

You should always speak to your surgeon about all of these things in the consultation, before going ahead with the surgery.

Typical cost of Radio Frequency

The cost of radiofrequency is £1500 – £3500, depending on the device and treatment area.
