Menopause & Mental Health

Unfortunately, with the menopause, mental health can is a struggle for many. Brain fog, forgetfulness, mood swings, anxiety and depression are all too common with the transition and really impact a person’s quality of life.

Many women report feeling like ‘zombies’ and a shadow of their former selves. It’s important to know that everything you’re experiencing during the transition is normal, it’s often a great relief for women to know they’ve not suddenly become ‘stupid’ or ‘incapable’ despite what they may feel and it’s down to the yo-yoing of your hormones, don’t worry your brain hasn’t gone anywhere!

We aim to provide resources covering mental health and the menopause to help you get a better understanding of how to find treatment.
