Coolsculpting
What Is CoolSculpting?
Coolsculpting is a simple and non-invasive fat sculpting treatment, freezing the cells via two cooling plates without damaging any surrounding tissue. The treatment causes fat cells to break down over the next few months.
Common areas for CoolSculpting are the stomach and back, but the procedure can treat any areas of stubborn fat. The treatment lasts a couple of hours and the feeling is described as a firm pulling sensation that isn’t painful.
Is CoolSculpting For You?
There are no factors that can restrict you from the procedure, but you should have realistic expectations and in order to maintain the loss of fat you must make the appropriate lifestyle changes otherwise it is likely to return. The treatment yields little results to individuals with morbid obesity so is not recommended for them.
Typical cost of body coolsculpting
Treatment for a small area costs £600 and a large area £1,600.
Risks & Side Effects
The treatment is non-invasive and there are no major side effects, only temporary effects caused by the cooling. Although the treatment is described as not painful, a mild nerve pain can last for several days post-treatment.
